Bob works for a major meat producer. Even when the problem isn’t really Stay-Linked, we often use our built-in diagnostics to help our customers find the “Real” problem with their environment. Below is a comment about one of those times….

Mark,

Now that it’s not 2am and I can think more clearly I wanted to share my thanks with you and your whole team at Stay-linked.

I was very impressed by the knowledge, dedication, and willingness to help from everyone I talked to last night. Those people included Ted, John, Justin, and you. I want to especially thank John, as he was on vacation and still was very willing to help me troubleshoot until someone else was able to step in. Even though the problem was OS/Java related, your whole team was very helpful and didn’t just dump it off like some vendors might.

Thanks,

–Bob

It really is amazing how few of our tech support calls are really for Stay-Linked problems. Over 60% of our calls relate to environmental issues – not Stay-Linked. And we almost always help solve the issue for our customer. (BTW – another 20% of our calls are just for simple password reset questions – they forget the password to access Stay-Linked’s Administrator because they just don’t have to worry about Stay-Linked once they install it.)

Does your vendor have stats like this? Why not? Try us out and let us help make your life easier too.

We appreciate comments from happy customers. This one is from a major sporting goods retailer about their use in a distribution center.

“The Screen Recognition Feature is a very convenient tool. It gives us a level of control that we never had before. It allows us to make changes in house rather than paying for a software change. It is easy to use, and didn’t take long to learn. I see this tool saving time and money as well as improving the customer experience for all of our users.” — Josh, Systems & Technology Analyst

Thanks Josh. Glad you like the new feature.

Screen Recognition – added to version 10 of Stay-Linked’s Server and Administrator – is host-based. So it’s fast, reliable, and affects all devices instantaneously – without having to download changes to the devices.

Using Screen Recognition you can quickly add actions not available from the host application – including speech commands, displaying messages, locking the scanner, beeping the device, etc. You can also reformat screens any way you want. And it’s all accomplished using Stay-Linked’s GUI Administrator.

Request a 30-day trial from here.

We don’t receive glowing emails from customers and partners every day – just several time a week.

We sure don’t hear about comments like this being sent to Wavelink, or device manufacturers, about their emulation products – do you?

Here’s one of our latest from a leading developer, marketer, and distributor of branded apparel, footwear, and accessories. They use Stay-Linked to connect to SAP Console.

Thank you all for your help and support on the RF gun issue we were experiencing in our West coast facility. Not surprisingly, the main issue was internal to the wireless network — contention between access points. The Echo test that you recommended we use was invaluable. It allowed us to find the dead spots on the floor even though they did not drop when testing with a laptop running a wireless card. Testing with the actual RF guns made all the difference. By turning off some APs the coverage has improved and seems to be fine now.

I really appreciate the tools and support that you provided to help us narrow in on the problem and solve it, even though the issue was not directly related to StayLinked. You guys not only have a great product but have consistently provided outstanding advice and support. If (Company) can ever help you all in any way, say by providing a customer reference, please do not hesitate to ask.

Thanks again,

- (Name)

Director of Distribution Systems

Comments like this aren’t unusual for us. You can see several of them here in our Blog. It’s great to have so many satisfied and happy customers.

Dec, 2009 – Comment by Tom and Eric – new Stay-Linked customers who were using the “free pre-licensed” emulator that was included with the equipment they bought.

Like a lot of companies, they tried to make the emulation work – it just wasn’t reliable. Where’s the value in that? So they switched to Stay-Linked.

“Thanks for being flexible and accommodating. Stay-Linked continues to be a partner that I proudly say we do business with. You have a solid product with top notch customer service.”

To which the head of Distribution Systems added…

“I agree 100%. You all have a great product and great service. If you ever need someone to act as a reference, feel free to reach out to us.”

It’s a shame they wasted so much time trying to get the free “emulation lite” to work.

Thanks for all your help, and if you’d care to pass this along to sales or management, the ease of doing this switch (downloads and installs, nothing to do on the handhelds) and your help getting it done is the reason these guys are going to keep Stay-Linked. So thanks again, and nice work keeping a customer on board with great customer service and an excellent product.

These are just a few of the many comments and emails we receive regarding our support team and the quality of services they provide. We invite you to find out for yourself.
